A Friday Evening in Hindon

Hindon is only a short drive from home, and The Grosvenor Arms has become one of those places we find ourselves returning to.

On Friday evening, we met friends there for the Friday evening wood-fired pizzas.

The children played together, everyone relaxed into the start of the weekend, and it was one of those summer evenings that reminded me why I enjoy life in this part of the world so much.

A beautiful setting, a classic country pub, warm weather and time with friends.

When clients ask me about different villages, I always think it helps to talk about the places that are genuinely part of local life. Not just the houses, but the pubs, walks, schools, shops and small routines that give somewhere its character.

The Grosvenor Arms, part of the Chickpea Group, is one of those places I can honestly recommend. It has a relaxed, welcoming feel and captures much of what makes Hindon so appealing.

For anyone thinking about a move to this part of Wiltshire, evenings like this are a useful reminder that the right home is not only about the property itself. It is also about the life around it.
